M0 ring road

M0 ring road southern sector (between M1 and M5) After the transmission of the sector in 1994, the requisition of the line increased rapidly. Because of the lack of the physical separation, numerous serious accidents happened and stopped the traffic. In the beginning of the 2000's the design of the second line started and as a result the 2x3 traffic line, a dividing strip and shoulders on both sides of the road were built.

M0 ring road eastern sector (between M5 and M3 ) This sector became needed because of the reduction and cessation of the freight transport crossing the City. After the transmission of the first sector, the search for the tracks immediately started, but the preparation speeded up only in the second half of the 90's. The realization of the M31 motorway started.

M0 ring road northern sector (between M3-10. main roads), This sector contains the sections with the most diverse functions and facilities. The firstly built section (between the M3 motorway and the second main road) guaranteed the traffic of the northern agglomeration of Budapest. The secondly built section (the section between the Megyeri bridge and the fourth main road) included North-Buda in the ring traffic and disencumbered the Árpád Bridge. The third section will be built between the eleventh and tenth main roads, with tunnels and viaducts. It is currently being designed.

M0 ring road western sector (between the 10. main road and M1 motorway) Just like the section between the eleventh and tenth main roads, a road between hills and mountains. Currently only the examination of the tracks is in process. Because of the characteristics of the relief, of the landscape, and of the structure, the road can be imagined with tunnels, except for the section which can be found south from Budakeszi. This sector, after it will be built, will play an important role in the traffic of the agglomerational settlements.
